A Learning Community Of Its Own Kind

Here at Sui Gen, though, I am free to envision learning in new ways. I can truly meet my students where they are at, and not have to worry if that place doesn't match where they are supposed to be, in order to pass a class or get the A. I can teach a broad range of students--all are welcome.

I love being a writer and a meditator. I love applying mindfulness to each thing I do during the day. And, I love teaching. Breaking down processes into their parts, guiding students as they discover their own voices and styles as writers, meditators, and creative, mindful human beings brings me joy and fulfillment. Thich Nhat Hanh says, "The way you support yourself can be an expression of your deepest self...Our vocation can nourish our understanding and compassion." This is what I am here to achieve, and I invite you to join me.
